Arrive at Cologne Bonn Airport and travel to your hotel in the city centre (approximately 15-20 minutes). After settling in, walk immediately to Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom), the magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Gothic masterpiece that dominates the skyline. Marvel at the twin spires reaching 157 meters, intricate facade, stunning stained glass windows, and the golden Shrine of the Three Kings. If energetic, climb the 533 steps of the south tower for breathtaking panoramic views. Cross the Hohenzollern Bridge covered in thousands of love locks for Rhine River views. Enjoy dinner at a traditional Brauhaus sampling Kölsch beer and Rhineland cuisine.
Explore Cologne’s 2,000-year history starting at the Roman-Germanic Museum showcasing spectacular Roman mosaics, glassware, and the famous Poblicius tomb monument.
