Arrive at one of the Washington area airports and transfer to your hotel. Head to the National Mall, the two-mile greenbelt lined with monuments and museums. Visit the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, and Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Walk to the inspiring MLK Jr. Memorial and FDR Memorial. Watch sunset from the Lincoln Memorial steps overlooking the Reflecting Pool toward the Capitol. Dinner in Penn Quarter or Downtown.
Tour the magnificent U.S. Capitol building seeing the Rotunda, National Statuary Hall, and learning about American legislative history.
