Arrive at Zagreb Airport and transfer to your centrally located accommodation (20 minutes). Explore the charming Upper Town (Gornji Grad), the medieval heart of Zagreb. Ride the short funicular railway to the top. Visit St. Mark’s Church with its distinctive colorful tiled roof showing Croatian and Zagreb coats of arms. Walk through the Stone Gate with its revered shrine. Explore the picturesque Tkalčićeva Street with its cafés, bars, and restaurants. Enjoy traditional Croatian dinner with local wines.
Visit the unique Museum of Broken Relationships, an award-winning collection of objects from failed relationships with emotional stories from around the world. Explore the Croatian Museum of Naïve Art or the Zagreb City Museum. Walk through the elegant Lower Town (Donji Grad) with its Austro-Hungarian architecture, grand squares, and green horseshoe of parks including Zrinjevac.
