After settling in, explore the elegant French Quarter with its colonial architecture. Visit the iconic Notre-Dame Cathedral and the stunning Central Post Office designed by Gustave Eiffel. Walk along Dong Khoi Street with boutique shops and cafes. Enjoy your first Vietnamese meal – pho or banh mi – and experience the motorbike chaos from a sidewalk cafe.
Visit the sobering War Remnants Museum showcasing Vietnam War history from Vietnamese perspective with military equipment, photos, and exhibits. Explore the Reunification Palace (Independence Palace) where tanks crashed through gates ending the war in 1975.
