This comprehensive itinerary is designed to guide you through an exciting journey filled with remarkable destinations and captivating experiences in Kotor.
Arrive at Tivat or Dubrovnik airport and transfer to Kotor (30-90 minutes). Settle into your accommodation and begin exploring the enchanting Old Town, a maze of winding cobblestone streets, medieval squares, and historic buildings. Visit St. Tryphon Cathedral, browse artisan shops, and discover hidden courtyards. Enjoy dinner at a traditional konoba in one of the atmospheric squares.
Challenge yourself with the climb up Kotor’s legendary fortress walls—1,350 steps leading to the San Giovanni Fortress. The ascent takes 1-2 hours but rewards you with absolutely breathtaking panoramic views over the bay, mountains, and terracotta rooftops. Visit the Church of Our Lady of Remedy halfway up. Descend and explore the Maritime Museum showcasing Kotor’s seafaring heritage. Relax in the evening at waterfront cafés.
