Arrive at Penang International Airport and transfer to your hotel in UNESCO-listed George Town. After settling in, explore the charming streets on foot discovering colorful shophouses, colonial buildings, and bustling local life. Visit the famous Clan Jetties, traditional Chinese water villages built on stilts. Try your first Penang street food – char kway teow, assam laksa, or cendol from hawker stalls. Evening stroll along the waterfront esplanade watching the sunset.

Embark on a comprehensive heritage walking tour through George Town’s UNESCO core zone. Visit the beautiful Khoo Kongsi clan house with intricate carvings, ornate temples like Kuan Yin Temple, colonial buildings including Fort Cornwallis and City Hall, and explore Little India with its spice shops and temples. Hunt for famous street art murals by Ernest Zacharevic including “Little Children on a Bicycle” and “Boy on a Bike.” Experience trishaw ride through narrow lanes.

Take the funicular railway up Penang Hill (Bukit Bendera) to 830 meters elevation for cool mountain air, lush gardens, and panoramic island views.
