Arrive at Penang International Airport and transfer to your hotel in UNESCO-listed George Town. After settling in, explore the charming streets on foot discovering colorful shophouses, colonial buildings, and bustling local life. Visit the famous Clan Jetties, traditional Chinese water villages built on stilts. Try your first Penang street food – char kway teow, assam laksa, or cendol from hawker stalls. Evening stroll along the waterfront esplanade watching the sunset.
Embark on a comprehensive heritage walking tour through George Town’s UNESCO core zone. Visit the beautiful Khoo Kongsi clan house with intricate carvings, ornate temples like Kuan Yin Temple, colonial buildings including Fort Cornwallis and City Hall, and explore Little India with its spice shops and temples.
