Arrive at Reno-Tahoe International Airport and travel to Lake Tahoe through scenic mountain highways (approximately 45-60 minutes). After settling into your hotel, take your first glimpse of the stunning cobalt blue lake. Walk along the lakeshore, visit a nearby beach, and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Dine at a lakeside restaurant with panoramic water and mountain views as the sun sets over the peaks.
Drive the scenic West Shore to visit Emerald Bay, Lake Tahoe’s most photographed location featuring a stunning fjord-like inlet with Fannette Island. Hike down to Vikingsholm Castle, a magnificent Scandinavian-style mansion built in 1929. Continue to Eagle Falls and Cascade Falls for short hikes to beautiful waterfalls. Ride the Heavenly Gondola in South Lake Tahoe for breathtaking panoramic views spanning the entire lake and surrounding Sierra Nevada peaks. Evening entertainment and dining at South Shore casinos.
