Arrive at Berlin Brandenburg Airport and travel to your hotel in the city centre (approximately 30-40 minutes). After settling in, explore the historic Mitte district starting at Brandenburg Gate, Berlin’s iconic neoclassical monument and symbol of German reunification. Walk down Unter den Linden boulevard to Museum Island. Visit the moving Holocaust Memorial (Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe) with its 2,711 concrete slabs. Explore Potsdamer Platz, transformed from Cold War no-man’s-land to modern commercial center. Enjoy dinner in the vibrant Hackescher Markt area.
Spend the day exploring UNESCO-listed Museum Island, home to five world-class museums.
